About – A New Beginning

How can I help you?

If you are an entrepreneur, innovator, or key influencer in technology and new venture creation, I am launching some new programs to help you and your organizations. If you will take a moment to read on, I’d appreciate knowing if any of these resonate with you or what I could do to improve these offerings as I launch.

Some of you know me for my art, some for my work in science and technology commercialization. For some time now, it has been stressful for me to see them as two separate parts of my life but I have come to embrace my polymath tendencies and see them, like myself, as a whole and when combined, the place where I can add exponential value to others.

While I will continue to do art for arts sake and commercialization consulting without art, most of my future art projects will be packaged with added value insights for my corporate clients. Below are my three focus endeavors. This website will be updated to reflect this new direction soon and I will publish client innovation stories behind some of the artwork I’ve already done, so you can learn more about the images and clients I have served. Thank you for your continued support and patronage!

Innovation Storytelling – Visual and written innovation insights based on solid market insights and brand-centric messaging. Deliverables include detailed written internal or external strategic product and market analysis and artwork done in studio, onsite, or at event/product launch.

Brand Growth and Discovery – Creative and interactive team workshops to expand market impact and circle of influence around core brand values. Deliverables include co-created brand-centric artwork with executive teams, product teams, marketing teams with guided innovation discussions and opportunity development.

Artist-in-Residence – Onsite integration to core teams to drive innovation thinking and insights. Programs designed for any timeframe, from a day to month or quarterly visits. Deliverables include artwork, co-created artwork with key internal teams, written innovation analysis to drive commercialization success.

How can you help?

First, I don’t want to do anything that doesn’t add value to you or your referrals. I am applying and looking to connect to existing companies that offer Artist-in-Residence programs, such as Facebook, Autodesk, Kohler, Adobe, SpaceX, as well as companies where I can bring creativity and insights to solve problems. For startups, where I spend a lot of my consulting time, there is growing demand for Artists-In-Residence, where I can infuse teams with creativity based on a foundation of market and technology analysis. I am also seeking opportunity to paint live at events, which I already offer but with the added bonus of being able to confidently speak on innovation, brand, creativity, and commercialization.

What about my credibility to offer such things?

I am interested in you getting from mind-to-market, that drives my results. I am interested in your technology innovations and helping you positively change the world, by sharing what you do though visual and written media. What do I bring to the table? I love putting new technology to work to improve the world, so I dive deep on many subjects, which allows me to problem solve across industries and internal teams – electro-optics to nanoscale devices, marketing to product development. You might say I can talk “insights from CubeSats to Cubism”. Most of my work is in building actionable plans to get very early-stage technology to market. For each project I become your product evangelist and brand champion.
