Four Raines Paintings Exhibited in Michelin Booth at NAIAS 2011
Detroit – Michelin commissioned four paintings of “Bibendum”, also known as “The Michelin Man” for their booth at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) 2011. The four paintings were seen by thousands of automotive enthusiasts and industry executives and Artist Timothy Raines was on hand to paint live during the two press preview days and the big Charity Preview gala.Of the four paintings, three will be donated to charities for separate auctions and one will head to Michelin headquarters for their private art collection.
